Specification on Technical Requirements for Health Food Products issued
In accordance with the Food Safety Law and its implementation regulations, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) recently formulated and issued the Specification on Technical Requirements for Health Food Products to further standardize the administrative licensing for health foods, improve the health food quality and safety control, strengthen the supervision on health food production and distribution and provide directions for making the technical requirements for health food products. The Specification will be put into force since February 1, 2011.
