BASF is raising its prices for isophorone diamine (IPDA) in Europe by €200 per metric ton, or by the corresponding amount in local currency, effective immediately or as existing contracts permit.
The IPDA specialty amine is valued as a curing agent for epoxy resins and as an isocyanate crosslinking agent for the production of polyurethane. BASF manufactures IPDA at its Ludwigshafen Verbund site and is a leading supplier of this product.
