Sichuan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co. has announced plans to acquire the remaining 15% stake in Zhejiang-based pharmaceutical unit for ¥65.3m ($9.78m).

China-based Sichuan Kelun Pharma manufactures and sells pharmaceutical products. The company had previously acquired an 85% stake in Zhejiang-based pharmaceutical unit.

Avantor Performance Materials has announced plans to merge with NuSil Technology LLC. Following the merger, the combined company will be named Avantor.

Avantor Performance Materials is a provider of chemicals for biopharmaceutical applications, while NuSil is a formulator of silicone compounds for healthcare and other applications.

The merger will enable the companies to develop innovative products.
