In accordance with the relevant requirements of the State Council on deepening the reform of administrative approval system, the approval of the import of anabolic agents and peptide hormones is authorized to provincial drug regulatory departments. China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), General Administration of Customs and General Administration of Sport of China revised the Provisions for Import and Export of Anabolic Agents and Peptide Hormones (Interim) (SFDA Decree No. 25) and jointly issued the Administrative Measures for Import and Export of Anabolic Agents and Peptide Hormones on September 28, 2014.

The Administrative Measures for Import and Export of Anabolic Agents and Peptide Hormones will go into effect as of December 1, 2014.
