CFDA Minister Zhang Yong meets Minister of Health, Welfare and Sports of the Netherlands and Ambassador of the Netherlands to China

| On September 10, 2013, Zhang Yong, Minister of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), met with the delegation led by Edith Schippers, Minister of Health, Welfare and Sports of the Netherlands, and Aart Jacobi, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to China. Zhang Yong introduced the main responsibilities and the institutional restructuring of CFDA, and listened to the introduction about the food and drug regulatory system of the Netherlands. Both sides exchanged views on expanding exchanges and cooperation in the field of food safety supervision and deepening cooperation in the supervision of drugs and medical devices. Relevant directors of CFDA's Department of International Cooperation, Department of Food Safety Supervision I, Department of Food Safety Supervision II, Department of Drug & Cosmetics Registration, Department of Medical Device Registration, Department of Drug & Cosmetics Supervision and Department of Medical Device Supervision attended the meeting. |
