On the morning of August 16, 2013, Yin Li, Vice Minister of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) met with the delegation led by Mr. Alain Berset, Swiss Federal Councillor and Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Home Affairs, and Mr. Jacques de Watteville, the Ambassador of Switzerland to China. Yin Li introduced the main responsibilities and the institutional restructuring of CFDA, and learned of the relevant organizational settings of Swiss. Both sides exchanged opinions on bilateral Memorandum of Understanding on regulatory cooperation. Relevant directors of CFDA's Department of International Cooperation, Department of Food Safety Supervision III, Department of Drug & Cosmetics Registration and Department of Medical Device Registration attended the meeting.
