The ninth Growth Conference, which is hosted on an annual basis by the business consultant firm Pharmacy Development Services (PDS), attempts to transform the industry by encouraging discussion between entrepreneurs with various skills, expertise and experience in the industry."

            Pharmacy is a tough business, especially for independents," said Tom Rhoads, chief executive of Parata Systems, which is sponsoring the event.

           "PDS creates an environment where pharmacists can get excited about their mission to care for patients, become energized by peers," he added.
The event will also provide independent pharmacists with knowledge of opportunities and support they may be entitled to, as well as featuring a number of presentations about breaking out of outdated business practices.

            Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, will host the two-day conference from February 21st.
