EMA database of adverse-event reports opens to public

The European Medicines Agency has opened up access to reports of suspected drug side effects. The now-public database comprises reports on about 650 medications and active ingredients cleared for sale via EMA's centralized approval process; it's aiming to add common drugs OK'd at the national level within a year.
