On June 21, 2011, Wu Zhen, Deputy Commissioner of the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), met with the visiting Paul Huijts, Director-General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport of the Netherlands, and his entourage. Both sides exchanged opinions on the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice for Pharmaceutical Products (GMP), China's medical device supervision, the drug supervision in the Netherlands and in the Europe, and reached common understanding on building bilateral cooperation mechanism and signing a memorandum of understanding in the next stage.
