On the morning of June 10, 2011, Shao Mingli, Commissioner of the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) and Dr. P.Y. LAM, Director of Health of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region had an annual high-level meeting in Sichuan province. Both sides reviewed the cooperation in drug supervision, exchanged opinions on the implementation of the new version of Good Manufacturing Practice for Pharmaceutical Products (GMP) of China, the TCM standards and the establishment of an information notification system, and made discussions on an extensive and in-depth cooperation in the next stage.
