DDL, leader in product, material and package testing, will be represented at this year's Healthpack Conference with a presentation conducted by Al Gale, DDL's Product and Material Engineer!
Gale's workshop titled, Methods to Evaluate the Materials Used in Your Sterile Barrier System for Shelf-Life Products, will focus on what tests to consider when looking at the material stability of a sterile barrier system.
"If your product labeling makes any dating claims, you must have data that supports the stability of your sterile barrier system", Gale said. "It's not just about the seals; the two materials in the SBS are just as important."
Other aspects that the presentation will cover include;
Microbial Ranking of Porous Packaging Materials
Aging of Materials
Porosity Measurement for Materials
Impact Testing of Plastic Film
Dynamic Tensile Behavior,
Drop Impact Resistance of Blow-Molded Thermoplastic Containers
Mr. Gale has more than 25 years of experience in the high tech manufacturing industry, supporting both products and customers. He has a keen insight into industry trends, standards and regulations. He guides customers on this type of testing on a daily basis and works one on one with clients to ensure the right test is conducted the first time. Join Al Gale along with DDL's President, Pat Nolan and Scott Levy, packaging engineer, at this year's Healthpack Conference March 8-10, 2011 in Cincinnati, OH. To learn more about material stability of a sterile barrier system attend Mr. Gale's presentation on Thursday March 10, 2011 from 2:30 to 3:00.
